Traditional Korean music is full of soul, heart and emotion.
For example, Pansori (판소리) music is used to tell traditional Korean tales in the form of a song. There is some dialogue exchanged between the actors, with interludes of singing. It’s almost like a musical.
Pungmul (풍물) is a form of traditional Korean folk music. It combines dancing with dancers who twirl to the beat of a small metal gong.
Sanjo (산조) is music that increases in tempo. Musicians who play sanjo type music have to pay careful attention, because the rhythm gets faster and complex with each movement.
